FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA ORATORY CONTEST AT SUGAR GROVE, ILLINOIS

Sugar Grove, Illinois, April 16 -

Ben McCannon, Jr., of Sugar Grove, was awarded first place iin the Section II Future Farmers of America Original Oratory Contest, held here Thursday evening. His subject was "Weeds and Their Education."

Stuart Wells, of Harvard, won second place on his oration entitled "Feeding Minerals to Live Stock," while third prize when to Frederick Boebel, Jr., of Naperville, who spoke on "The Chemist and Permanent Soil Fertility."
