Keck's Store located at 221 Main St., Sugar Grove, Illinois.
In 1893, Will E. Keck and a few others formed the Sugar Grove Supply Company at 221 Main Street. Eventually, Will bought the others owners out and became the sole owner. The building burned down around 1918 and was later rebuilt on the same site in brick. His son W.R. “Spiv” Keck took over the store, and it was know as Keck’s Store for many years. It was a grocery and hardware store and the only retail business in town for many years. Mr. Keck retired and sold the business in 1980.
